The Marshall Electronics AR-AM4-BG-2 is an active, multichannel rackmount audio monitoring system offering simple setup and operation in a 1-RU chassis ready for installation in machine rooms, mobile production vehicles, VTR bays, TV studios, teleconferencing setups, and similar tight spaces where powerful monitoring is required.
The front panel features two speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack with volume and balance controls along with two LED VU meters. Four buttons allow you to select one of the four stereo XLR inputs for monitoring, while two additional buttons let you solo the left or right input channel source to both speakers. Pressing the volume knob or plugging in headphones instantly mutes the speakers.
On the back of the AR-AM4-BG-2 are the four balanced stereo XLR inputs. A passive balanced stereo XLR output mirrors the input selection, allowing you to send signal to additional monitors, if required. RS-232 ports allow you to configure and operate the unit remotely using a Windows computer and Marshall's free control app. A 12V universal power supply is included.
