PortaBrace Soft Camera Case
The CS-NX5R camera case is designed to protect and organise the Sony HXR-NX5R and essential accessories. The case's unique opening features a robust YKK® zip that extends the full length of the case to provide an extra-wide opening facilitating removal and replacement of the camera and other contents. The case comes with a camera cradle designed to hold your camera in place inside the case, even in challenging travel conditions. A white balance card with convenient cord is also included.
The CS-NX5R is made from durable, abrasion-resistant 1000 denier Cordura nylon that has been treated with a waterproof urethane (DWR) coating. The body of the case is constructed with 19mm foam and the bottom panel is reinforced with 8.0mm hollow-core plastic and an additional layer of foam. The exterior bottom is lined with a layer of Slip-Not anti-slip material that provides an additional level of protection against water, dirt and grime. The main zip is protected by a Cordura flap to help prevent damage and stop water from entering the case. "Concealed zips" are used, which "reverse" the zip faces to avoid snagging and extend the zip's lifespan.
High-quality bonded thread is used and double-stitched in areas that typically bear more weight or are susceptible to additional wear. All thread ends are burnt to prevent loose threads or seams coming undone. Genuine suede is used to provide greater comfort and durability to the carrying handles, and a comfortable nylon shoulder strap is included. The removable shoulder strap is fitted with steel attachments that fasten to the robust nickel-plated steel rings of the CS-NX5R. There is a full-length exterior pocket measuring, ideal for cables, a shotgun microphone or optional rain cover. There is also a long zippered pocket at the rear of the case which is ideal for carrying the white balance card (included), instruction manuals, airline tickets and other documents.
