Tenba Roadie Air Case Roller 21
The Tenba Roadie Air Case Roller 21 is a wheeled camera case designed to be stylish, meet the carry-on luggage requirements of most international and US airlines, and built with ultra-rugged and impact-resistant components. If necessary, the Roadie Air Case Roller 21 and its contents can be safely shipped or checked at the airport. Made with a thoughtful design and minimal branding, this case also has a distinctive appearance without drawing unwanted attention to the equipment it contains. A large main compartment with adjustable dividers can accommodate a complete kit for many photographers, while the interior of the main compartment lid features four clear mesh panels for easy identification of their contents. The Roadie Air Case Roller 21 can accommodate two DSLR camera bodies with grips and a 400mm f/2.8 lens or eight to ten smaller lenses, as well as flashes and accessories.
In addition to the adjustable dividers, a removable insert is provided to help compartmentalise the equipment inside the Roadie Air Case Roller 21. Once at the destination, the insert can be transferred into a separate shoulder bag or backpack to better protect a camera and two to three lenses during travel. When used with a separately sold Tenba Tools Packlite Travel Bag for BYOB 10, the removable insert fits with a precise fit. Four handles are included for greater flexibility when carrying or moving the case: a two-position telescopic top handle, a non-telescopic top handle with leather finish, a side handle and a bottom handle that makes it easier to grab and place the case in overhead compartments of aircraft or car boots. Additionally, an integrated strap to attach an additional bag allows other luggage to be grouped at the front of the case for easy transport of multiple carry-on items in airports, hotels or car parks.
For additional peace of mind in crowded places, an integrated TSA-approved combination lock secures the zip of the main compartment. To secure the case to a stationary object such as a pole, an integrated braided steel side cable is included with an additional TSA-approved combination lock. The nylon construction gives the case a high degree of weather resistance and improves its durability, which is further reinforced by the wheel housings that help protect the reinforced corners of the case from impacts on escalators and pavements. A rain cover is included for even more weather protection if needed, and in the event of wear over time, the wheels, wheel housings, feet and telescopic top handle are user-replaceable. Tenba Air cases feature a multi-layer skeleton of corrugated plastic panels, high-density foam, moulded frame components and a reinforced outer shell. They are strong enough to support the weight of a person even when empty, and are designed to meet or exceed the shipping standards of the Air Transport Association.
