Featuring a corrugated plastic viewfinder protection compartment that helps protect your camera's viewfinder from shocks and knocks, this black Porta Brace padded carrying bag for camcorder with reinforced viewfinder protection is a soft bag designed to protect your camcorder during transport and storage. It holds the camera with the lens and viewfinder attached, and features a 1000D Cordura nylon shell with interior padding that effectively protects your camcorder whilst weighing only 2.5 kg. A removable padded lens support is included to help protect your lens or prevent the camera body from moving during transport. An integrated seat belt restraint strap proves handy when transporting your equipment on a car seat. The 1000D Cordura shell is abrasion-resistant and offers weather protection.
Two large front pockets with Velcro closure are suitable for carrying larger spare parts and cables during local travel. At the rear of the case are two mesh zip pockets perfect for storing papers or other thin items. An interior pocket is ideal for holding the included white balance card. The nylon mesh handles are covered in suede for durability and provide a soft grip surface. An included padded adjustable shoulder strap is also covered in suede. The bottom panel features a non-slip and water-resistant base, and the exterior of the EVF compartment features a sewn-in ID card window.
Construction
The 1000 denier Cordura nylon case provides an interior padding system consisting of extra-thick padded foam side walls to transport and protect a camcorder and its accessories.
EVF Protection
The bag includes reinforced corrugated plastic protection for the viewfinder. This accommodates and protects the EVF of large ENG camcorders, allowing you to travel with the viewfinder attached to the camera and be ready to film as soon as you arrive on location.
Lens support
The included filler cushion is a soft nylon foam block that can be positioned under long lenses to provide additional support during transport, or placed against the camera body to prevent it from moving.
