Portabrace Edition Plus Carrying Case, Sony PXW-X400, blue
Featuring a padded corrugated plastic viewfinder compartment that helps protect your camera's EVF from shocks and impacts, this blue Porta Brace padded carrying bag with reinforced EVF protection is a soft case designed to protect the Sony PXW-X400 or other selected camcorders during transport and storage. It holds the camera with lens and viewfinder attached, and features a 1000D Cordura nylon shell with internal padding that effectively protects your camcorder whilst weighing only 2.5 kg. An integrated seat belt retention strap is convenient when transporting your equipment on a car seat. The 1000D Cordura shell is abrasion-resistant and offers weather protection.
Two large front pockets with Velcro closure are suitable for carrying bulkier spare items and cables during local travel. At the rear of the bag are two zipped mesh pockets perfect for storing papers or other thin items. An interior zipped pocket is well suited to hold the included white balance card. The nylon mesh handles are covered in suede for durability and provide a soft grip surface. An included padded adjustable shoulder strap is also covered in suede. The bottom panel features a non-slip, water-resistant base, and the exterior of the EVF compartment has a sewn-on ID card window.
Construction
This 1000 denier Cordura nylon case with internal padding system, composed of extra-thick padded foam side walls, is designed to transport and protect a camcorder and its accessories.
EVF protection
The bag is equipped with reinforced and padded corrugated plastic viewfinder protection that accommodates and protects the EVF of large ENG camcorders. You can travel with the viewfinder attached to the camera and be ready to film as soon as you arrive on location.
