Sigma PL to L-Mount Adapter Ring
The Sigma MC-31 mount adapter allows the use of PL mount cinema lenses on L-mount camera bodies. This lens adapter features a reinforced aluminium alloy construction with brass mounts for great durability and rigidity, enabling it to support larger and heavier lenses. A removable tripod support foot also helps stabilise the camera-lens system, and the adapter's design allows removal of the screw thread and unlocking of the locking ring stop, to safely mount PL lenses requiring a tighter fit than the native M-31 specifications. The adapter also features two-point shim adjustments on the mount, and an L-mount shim kit is included for camera-side or lens-side adjustment. Furthermore, in keeping with the exterior design of Sigma's PL cinema lenses, luminescent paint is used for external markings for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
