The RB-DDA6W-2P 6-way Word Clock Distribution Amplifier distributes a BNC word clock input signal to 6 reconditioned BNC word clock outputs. It is used to distribute reference clocks for digital audio systems. It has a single female BNC audio input which is distributed to 6 female BNC outputs. The main application of the unit is to distribute a master TTL word clock source to multiple pieces of equipment that need to be synchronized from the master.nnThe unit offers redundancy protection by using two power supply units which can be powered from separate mains sources. The unit automatically shares the load between both supplies so that if one of the supplies should fail, the unit will continue to operate normally. If both supplies fail, the input is directly connected to output 1.nnThe status of both power supplies is shown on the front panel by two red LEDs which illuminate to show that the supply is working correctly. On the alarm output connector, there is a changeover relay to indicate the status of each supply.
