Featuring black ear cups, the Yamaha HPH-MT5 headphones are equipped with 40 mm dynamic transducers with CCAW acoustic coils that deliver a flat frequency response of monitoring quality from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. These studio-quality headphones feature a closed circumaural design for maximum isolation, while their lightweight 0.5 lb construction, three-dimensional headband pivot mechanism and adjustment slider facilitate a comfortable fit; a fit that will not cause fatigue during long listening sessions.
The swivelling ear pads allow for single-ear monitoring, if hearing your own voice while singing helps you stay in tune. The headphones include a 10-foot unilateral cable with a gold-plated mini-jack, as well as a 1/4" adapter. You will also notice the carrying case that stores your headphones when not in use.

Luxurious ear pads
The HPH-MT5 headphones are fitted with large ear pads for a comfortable fit. The smooth synthetic leather and low-resistance cushions absorb excessive vibrations.
Perfect fit
A three-dimensional headband pivot construction and an adjustable slider allow the angle of the ear pad to be adjusted to the shape of the wearer's head, helping to reduce fatigue during long working sessions. The headphones also feature swivelling ear cups, allowing single-ear monitoring if required.
Connectivity
These headphones have been designed so that users are aware of the cable without being hindered by it, while providing sufficient length for monitoring applications where mobility is a factor. The 3 m detachable straight cable is fitted with a corrosion-resistant gold-plated 3.5 mm jack and a gold-plated 1/4" stereo adapter.
