Fostex Premium Stereo Headphone
Building on the success of the TH900mk2, the Fostex TH909 is a high-end open-back reference headphone perfectly suited for professionals and audiophiles. The TH909 is equipped with a remarkably designed transducer with a magnetic flux density of 1.5 Tesla (15,000 gauss) and a 50 mm biodynamic diaphragm. The detachable connectors use a rhodium-plated finish, which offers high hardness with resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The housing features a traditional Bordeaux Japanese lacquer finish, while the updated ear pad design provides a low-resilience cushion for a comfortable fit. The included asymmetrical cable is made from 7N-grade (99.99999%) oxygen-free copper (OFC) with a gold-plated 6.35 mm TRS jack plug and can be replaced by optional cables such as a balanced cable with XLR connectors. Additionally, the headphone comes with a stand and a carrying bag.
