Designed for editing, mixing and critical listening, the Neumann NDH 30 headphones offer a calibrated studio speaker setup in the form of portable headphones. The open-back circumaural construction ensures reference-class sound with maximum comfort. The headphones use 38 mm transducers, which function as acoustic dipoles, allowing the highly refined sound characteristics to unfold optimally. One can expect extremely fast transient response, dry bass, uncoloured mids and transparent highs. In other words, the NDH 30 is free from distortion and colouration. It offers a frequency response of 12 Hz to 34 kHz. The high-quality spring steel and aluminium construction of the NDH 30 ensures tight tolerances for optimal consistency. The headphones are foldable, making them easy to transport. The NDH 30 includes a detachable, internally balanced cable, designed to minimise crosstalk while increasing spatial resolution. The NDH 30 comes with a 1/4" adapter and a soft fabric carrying pouch.

Uncompromising accuracy
- The NDH 30 owes its superior linearity, among other things, to frequency-selective absorbers that eliminate excessive emphasis in the high frequencies that leads to incorrect mixing decisions in many other headphones. For example, the NDH 30 will accurately reveal if a voice sounds muffled or needs de-essing. - The spatial resolution is impressive. The NDH 30 allows precise localisation in the stereo panorama and makes the depth of the mix evident. To minimise crosstalk between channels, the NDH 30 comes with a high-quality internally balanced cable.

- With its high linearity and detailed resolution, the NDH 30 is perfectly compatible with a speaker system that has been optimally calibrated using Neumann's automatic monitor alignment. - Mixes started at home or on the go with the NDH 30 can be continued without issue in the studio using the KH series speakers - and vice versa. At the same time, the NDH 30 is recommended as a headphone sound reference; after all, headphones have long since become the dominant playback system for consumers.
