The DT 797 is the perfect combination of the closed-back DT 770 PRO studio headphones, the high-quality condenser microphone from the DT 297, and a new swivel gooseneck microphone arm. This headset is specially developed for live use in very noisy environments such as sporting events etc., where ambient noise isolation, durability, and wearing comfort are of paramount importance.

The powerful headphone system with a frequency response of 5 – 30,000 Hz offers perfectly balanced sound characteristics. The isolating housing and soft leather ear pads ensure superb ambient noise isolation, and the new swivel gooseneck microphone arm allows optimal adjustment of the condenser microphone to any required position. The swivel microphone arm can be used on the left or right side or can be moved to the standby position (upper position). The microphone is equipped with a larger capsule with improved bass response. The condenser microphone with cardioid directivity ensures extremely high feedback rejection and noise reduction. Both cables, in the headband and in the gooseneck microphone arm, are covered to prevent any damage during use. The single-sided cable is available with different connectors that allow for all necessary connections.
