Yellowtec PUC2 LEA WaveLab Bundle - USB sound card for microphone
By combining Yellowtec recording equipment and a special Yellowtec edition of Steinberg's WaveLab mastering software, the PUC2 Mic LEA WaveLab bundle is the perfect all-in-one solution for audio recording and editing. By combining perfectly balanced recordings with WaveLab's editing tools, the bundle provides a production environment to optimise journalistic workflows.
The PUC2 Mic LEA integrates the real-time LEA DSP engine from Yellowtec's iXm recording microphone into a premium USB audio interface. LEA technology delivers perfectly balanced recordings without tedious post-processing. Equipped with one of the highest quality microphone preamplifiers available, the PUC2 Mic LEA guarantees impeccable audio quality with zero latency for your microphone signal. Use it to stream two channels of microphone recordings via USB or as a standalone A/D converter with its preamplifier and LEA engine.
Journalists, commentators and radio presenters know how many vocal recordings suffer from poor balancing and therefore poor speech recognition and mediocre sound. With LEA, that's a thing of the past. Whether you whisper or shout, the PUC2 Mic LEA delivers perfect audio levels — regardless of the environment or ambient noise. It provides real-time audio processing and captures perfect levels without clipping. Compared to standard AGCs and limiters, the LEA engine stands out by not creating common artefacts or pumping noise. Even with decreasing levels or high ambient noise, the LEA engine works perfectly and balances smoothly.
To edit your recordings, we equip you with the WaveLab Edition Yellowtec production software, which offers enhanced tools for excellent editing results. Featuring an easy-to-use interface with a dedicated Yellowtec feature ribbon, it provides quick access to all essential functions. Recognised as the reference software for audio mastering by many sound engineers worldwide, Steinberg's WaveLab includes professional editing and analysis tools as well as metadata management.
