LCD Digital Dual Battery Charger RP-DC50 with RP-DFP50 battery plates
The Hedbox RP-DC50 LCD Digital Dual Battery Charger Kit with RP-DFP50 battery plates is a two-bay solution that safely charges your batteries while providing a 2.1A, 5 VDC USB output. Two Sony NP-FH/FP/FV compatible battery plates are included in this kit. Charge a single battery or charge two batteries simultaneously in less time than it would take to charge them individually. The dual-bay charger features interchangeable battery plates, which is useful when you have more than one type of battery in your kit. The backlit display shows the charging status of the battery in both bays, and since it's backlit, you can easily read the display in bright or dark conditions. The charger supports both standard and fast charging, with the latter providing approximately 1.5 times more amperage for faster charging. A built-in 2.1A USB port allows you to charge USB accessories. The charger features overcharge and overheat protection, as well as the ability to test for shorts in the battery itself. - The RP-DC50 charger can support two different battery plates at the same time. This allows you to mix and match batteries. For example, you can charge an L-series battery at the same time as an LP-E6 battery. - The LCD screen provides a clear display of charging status, and the backlight allows you to read the display even in darkness. - Intelligent charging systems such as Constant Current/Constant Voltage (CC/CV) charging mode where the charger's CPU automatically adjusts the charging current to be lower than the maximum charging current that the battery can accept to protect it from overcharging. The intelligent control MCU can automatically identify the voltage and number of batteries that are on the charger, and prevent overcharging based on the selected charging mode. - Fast charging is available by pressing a button to activate a high-speed charging mode. In standard charging mode, the power is 1A per slot and 0.5A for both slots. In fast charging mode, the charger provides 1.5A current per battery slot or 0.8A for both slots. When Boost mode is activated, the Boost icon is displayed. Please note that Boost mode is only recommended for use with batteries that have internal overcharge/overheat protection. - The charger will automatically adjust its charging voltage to match the connected batteries. - The charger can be powered by either the included AC adapter or the included car cigarette lighter power cord. Please note that to charge 14 VDC (or higher) batteries, you must power the charger via the AC power cord. - Please note that the USB power port is only active when the charger is in standard mode, and it is disabled when the charger is in Boost mode.
