PWS-RUGGED is the evolution of the Power Station family, designed for field productions.

This useful device integrates and combines the power of up to 4 V-Lock batteries into a single source and provides 3 different outputs across 6 XLR connectors:

2x 14V, 4-pin XLR

2x 28V, 3-pin XLR

2x 48V, 3-pin XLR

Whilst the 14V output is always available, the 28V-48V outputs are alternative and user-selectable via a switch.

An additional dual USB socket is provided inside the housing to easily charge small production equipment. PWS-RUGGED is built in a lightweight, waterproof, unbreakable housing, with a dual-hinge locking system and a soft-grip handle for comfort in the field. PWS-RUGGED is the evolution of the Power Station family, designed for field productions.

PWS-RUGGED also includes 4 independent 65W chargers: when mains power is connected, the installed batteries are charged accordingly, with the system continuing to supply the requested DC power. In this way, PWS-RUGGED can also act as a powerful UPS system, as a sudden mains input failure will not affect the DC output which remains powered by the installed batteries.

The BLUESHAPE power station concept is a practical system for integrating the power of multiple V-lock batteries into a single source that can be used anywhere, anytime with simultaneous dual voltage output.

The 4 available outputs, 2 at 14V (4-pin XLR) and 2 at 48V (3-pin XLR) work in parallel and share the available input power: output power is available simultaneously on all ports.

Thanks to highly efficient internal electronics, exceeding 92% when distributing high loads, the system stays cool even after hours of operation for safe and extended reliability.

Depending on the installed batteries, the quadruple system can supply power as follows:

Installation of 4 BV batteries, HD models (high discharge):

up to 340W on the 14V output

up to 560W on the 48V output

Installation of 4 standard BV batteries (normal discharge):

up to 280W on the 14V output

up to 480W on the 48V output

Batteries are hot-swappable to maintain constant power supply without interruption, even when a battery is empty and needs to be replaced (if the remaining batteries are capable of compensating and supplying more current).
