Sonnet Echo III Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe Rack Expansion System
Enhance your Thunderbolt 3-compatible desktop computer with the Sonnet Echo III Thunderbolt 3 to PCIe Rack Expansion System. This external rack enclosure features one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and two x8 slots, supporting full-height and full-length non-GPU expansions such as network cards, SSD cards, USB port cards, and more. Configurations include either one double-width and one single-width card, or three single-width cards, powered by a 400W internal power supply. An internal 6-pin power connector is available, providing up to 75W of additional power to compatible expansion cards. With its two Thunderbolt 3 ports, you can connect your computer to the Echo III using the included cable and daisy-chain multiple devices in series, transferring data at up to 40 Gb/s with your Windows 10, macOS 10.12.6 or later, and Linux 5.0 or later system.    
Thunderbolt 3
Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that uses the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 provides a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 up to 10 Gb/s, and the dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy-chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
