Neutrik RearTWIST UHD BNC Connectors
The BNC rearTWIST UHD connectors are specifically designed for high-resolution video signal transmission. Thanks to the unique design of the insulator and contact pin, the connectors exhibit low return loss values for 4K and 8K signals.
Optimised Return Loss
Thanks to the optimised design of the insulator and the reduced crimp diameter of the centre pin, the Neutrik BNC rearTWIST UHD connector offers an increased margin compared to conventional BNC connectors and provides an additional return loss reserve for potential impedance deviations resulting from cable bending, incorrect connector assembly or defective connection interfaces, without signal interruption.
Crimp Dimensions
To achieve optimal return loss values at high frequencies, the crimp dimension of the contact pin has been reduced.
- Pin: 1.07 mm (square)
- Shield: 6.47 mm (hexagonal)
- Crimp die: DIE-R-BNCX-PDG

Approved Cables
To ensure high performance for each cable-connector combination at high frequencies, Neutrik has measured common COAX cables specifically designed for ultra-high-definition (UHD) transmission. All approved cables are listed below.
- Compatible cables: Belden 1505F, Bryant BD SD53F, Cordial CVI 08-37 HD
- UHD optimised cable: Klotz VD083LP 0.8L/3.7DZ
