3G-SDI to IP Encapsulator and De-encapsulator Preliminary Data Sheet for the Bluebell Edgware Edge Device 3G-SDI to IP Encapsulator and De-encapsulator The Edgware Encapsulator module is a simple yet highly powerful edge device that sits between the broadcast world and IP networks. 
A single SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI channel is encapsulated into IP packets and multicast over standard 10G networks. 
A simple graphical interface allows users to configure two IP addresses and the unit will transmit uncompressed video between them. 
Thanks to the transparent transfer protocol, your live content arrives unaltered. 
This encapsulator works with the Edgware de-encapsulator using SMPTE 2022-6 with an option for SMPTE2022-7 coming soon. 
This unit supports AIMS, AMWA and NMOS. 
TR03 and ST2110 are currently under development.
