Sony Master Setup Unit (horizontal)
The MSU-3000 Master Setup Unit enables intuitive control and maintenance of connected Sony HDC series system cameras. Sharing the same compact horizontal format and familiar ergonomics as the MSU-1000, the MSU-3000 fits into a 19-inch EIA rack (full width size). It can control multiple camera systems via 1000Base-T LAN, or a single camera via direct point-to-point connection using a Sony CCA cable. Operability is enhanced with a new touch panel featuring improved visibility as well as additional LED indicators and assignable keys. The menu page provides direct access to camera, CCU and BPU functions, whilst 21 assignable keys offer greater ease of use and extensibility. Features Flexible and scalable system configuration The MSU-3000 can be configured for use with large and small-scale camera control systems, sharing the same mechanical dimensions and interface system as the MSU-1000. One MSU-3000 can flexibly control up to 96 HDC series system camera units. High-speed LAN connection The MSU-3000 supports connectivity via 1000Base-T Ethernet LAN in addition to single connection via Sony 8-pin CCA cable. USB memory stick Back up and load MSU and connected camera settings from/to a USB memory stick via the MSU control panel. New LCD touch panel The large LCD touch panel features a new 7-inch WVGA screen (800x480) with improved visibility. Key and menu customisation Functions can be assigned to assignable keys for selected menu items, enabling quick and easy access. There will be a maximum of 21 keys. Web user interface application Enables convenient remote operation for initial MSU settings from a networked remote PC with an intuitive user interface (UI).
