Sony IP Camera Extension Adapter
The HDCE-TX30 IP Camera Extension Adapter reduces the cost and complexity of remote production by simplifying the connection of Sony HDC 3500/3100 and HDC-2500/2400/1700 system cameras to a SMPTE ST 2110 IP network.
Easily transportable in a case, this compact 1/3 rack-width adapter connects directly to a camera head in the field. Compatible with the SMPTE ST 2110 open standards family, the HDCE-TX30 transmits camera head signals via IP networks to the camera control unit (CCU) located in a remote production centre.
Support for leading IP intercom providers, including RTS, Clear-Com and Riedel, enables producers and directors to communicate in real time with camera operators at a remote site.
The HDCE-TX30 also simplifies centralised equipment allocation across multiple studios, control rooms and machine rooms, enabling camera signals to be routed instantly via IP to another part of the facility without having to reconnect fibre optic cables.
