The CNA-1 camera control network adapter enables third-party system products to control Sony system cameras via IP networks. Based on the Simple Protocol "text" textual command protocol, it enables easy and rapid development of applications for Sony system cameras without requiring complex programming.



The CNA-1 can function as a protocol converter, translating Sony cameras' original 700PTP protocol to and from Simple Protocol to enable cameras to operate easily with third-party devices. The majority of Sony camera control functions are included, with a few exceptions for the most complex protocols.



- Adding additional cameras and products:


The adapter converts serial protocol to IP protocol, enabling products without network capability to be connected to a network. If an additional camera chain is required, it can be connected via the CNA-1.




- Networking with MSU control software:


The CNA-1 can function as a "master" module with the Master Setup Unit (MSU) software on the HZC-CSM10 PC without requiring hardware MSU.
