Hedbox PROBANK-2M is an intelligent digital dual battery charger system with two V-Mount (V-Lock) batteries offering simultaneous charging and uninterrupted power supply/Power Bank capabilities. LED status indicators provide clear, precise and accurate information while integrated supports ensure stable operation when only one battery is mounted. The included female to male 4-pin XLR DC power cable (RPC-DC4X4) allows the PROBANK-2M to be used as a Power Bank, providing DC output power from the AC input or installed V-Lok batteries. DC output power up to 14.5V 4.5A 75W is available.
2-channel simultaneous charger
The PROBANK-2M digital dual battery charger system conveniently charges two professional batteries simultaneously. Using the latest battery charging technologies, with zero voltage charge activation, it allows you to charge two batteries at the same time, saving you time and money.
Charging technology
Intelligent charging systems integrate control systems in the charger and electronics in the battery to allow precise control of the charging process. As a safety measure with high-capacity batteries, a pre-charge (slow charge) step is used. The constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charging mode is an efficient way to charge lithium batteries.
It is used to charge the battery from 0% to 80% (RED light on). When the battery is 80% charged, pulse voltage charging (GREEN light on) takes over until the battery reaches 100%. The charger's CPU automatically adjusts the charging current to be lower than the maximum charging current the battery can accept. When the battery is fully charged, this state stops.
LED display
The LED display provides a clear, precise and accurate indication of power status, charging status, battery channel status and Power Bank mode. The displayed charging mode (RED LED on – constant current charging, GREEN LED on – pulse voltage charging) gives a clear overview of how the charging mode is used to charge your professional battery. With a bright and intense light, the reading function is activated in the dark.
Integrated locking support
The PROBANK-2M is equipped with additional supports for ease of use. The supports provide extra stability when charging a single battery.
Power Bank mode
The PROBANK-2M can easily become a very powerful Power Bank if used with a specially designed Hedbox professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-4 pin XLR female to male (included in the box). The output power is DC14.5V/4.5A, 75W and the capacity depends on the batteries used. For this application, use the cable: RPC-DC4X4 / 4-pin XLR male to female.

With a 4-pin female XLR connector on the front panel, the PROBANK-2M provides an additional DC output to continuously power external units such as professional camcorders, video monitors, LED lights and other professional broadcast products. Connected with a specially designed Hedbox high-flexibility professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-4 pin XLR female to male (included in the box), the charger can be used as a DC14.5V/4.5A, 75W output DC-AC adapter.
