QUAD CHARGER AND UNINTERRUPTIBLE DC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM - V-MOUNT
The Hedbox MEGABANK-4M is an intelligent quad digital battery charger system with four V-Mount (V-Lock) batteries offering simultaneous charging and uninterrupted power supply/Power Bank capabilities. The LED status indicators provide clear, precise and accurate information while the integrated brackets ensure stable operation when a single battery is mounted. The included DC XLR 4-pin female to male power cable (RPC-DC4X4) allows the MEGABANK-4M to be used as a Power Bank, providing DC power output from an AC input or installed V-Lok batteries. A DC power output of up to 14.5V 4.5A 75W is available. In Power Bank mode, if the AC input is interrupted, the DC power automatically switches to an installed battery, then to the second battery once the first is depleted, then to the third battery once the second is depleted, and to the fourth battery once the third is depleted. This uninterrupted power supply and continuous power function provide valuable and constant DC power for audio, video and lighting equipment, completely independent of the standard mains supply.

The MEGABANK-4M quad digital battery charger system easily charges four professional batteries simultaneously. Using the latest battery charging technologies, with zero-voltage charge activation, it allows you to charge four batteries at the same time, saving you time and money.
Charging technology
Intelligent charging systems integrate control systems in the charger and electronic components in the battery to enable precise control of the charging process. As a safety measure with high-capacity batteries, a pre-charge step (slow charge) is used. The constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charging mode is an effective way to charge lithium batteries. It is used to charge the battery from 0% to 80% (RED indicator on). When the battery is charged to 80%, pulsed voltage charging (GREEN indicator on) takes over until the battery reaches 100%. The charger CPU automatically adjusts the charging current to be lower than the maximum charging current the battery can accept. When the battery is fully charged, this state stops.
LED display screen
The LED display provides a clear, precise and accurate indication of power status, charge status, battery channel status and power bank mode. The displayed charging mode (red LED on – constant current charging, green LED on – pulsed voltage charging) provides a clear overview of how the charging mode is used to charge your professional battery. With a bright and intense light, the reading function is activated in the dark.
Integrated locking bracket
The MEGABANK-4M is fitted with additional brackets for easy use. The brackets provide extra stability when charging a single battery.
Power Bank Mode
The MEGABANK-4M can easily become a very powerful power bank when used with the Hedbox RPC-DC4X4 XLR 4-pin female to male high-flexibility professional power cable (included in the box). The output power is DC14.5V/4.5A, 75W and the capacity depends on the batteries used. For this application, use the cable: RPC-DC4X4 / XLR 4-pin male to female.

With a 4-pin XLR female connector on the front panel, the MEGABANK-4M provides an additional DC output to continuously power external units such as professional camcorders, video monitors, LED lights and other professional broadcast products. Connected with the specially designed Hedbox RPC-DC4X4 high-flexibility professional XLR 4-pin female to male power cable (included in the box), the charger can be used as a 14.5V/4.5A, 75W AC-DC adapter.
