QQUAD BATTERY CHARGER AND UNINTERRUPTIBLE DC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM - V-MOUNT
The Hedbox MEGABANK-4L is an intelligent digital quad battery charger system with four V-Mount (V-Lock) batteries offering simultaneous charging and external battery/UPS capabilities. LED status indicators provide clear, accurate and precise readings while the integrated brackets ensure stable operation when a single battery is mounted. The included XLR 4-pin female to male DC power cable (RPC-DC4X4) allows the MEGABANK-4L to be used as an external battery, providing DC power output from AC input or installed V-Lock batteries. DC output power of up to 14.5V 4.5A 75W is available.
When operating as an external battery, if the AC input were to fail, the DC power is then seamlessly transferred to an installed battery, then to the second battery once the first is depleted, then to the third battery once the second is depleted, and to the fourth battery once the third is depleted. This UPS and continuous power function provides valuable and constant DC power for audio, video and lighting equipment, completely independent of the regular mains power supply.
4-channel simultaneous charger
The MEGABANK-4L quad digital battery charger system easily charges four professional batteries simultaneously. Using the latest battery charging technologies, with zero-volt charge activation, it allows you to charge four batteries at the same time, saving you time and money.
Charging technology
Intelligent charging systems integrate control systems in the charger and electronic components in the battery to allow precise control of the charging process. As a precaution with high-capacity batteries, a pre-charge step (slow charge) is used. The constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charge mode is an effective way to charge lithium batteries. It is used to charge the battery from 0% to 80% (RED indicator on). When the battery is charged to 80%, pulsed voltage charging (GREEN indicator on) takes over until the battery reaches 100%. The charger processor automatically adjusts the charging current so that it is lower than the maximum charging current the battery can accept. When the battery is fully charged, this state is stopped.
LED display screen
The LED display provides a clear, accurate and precise indication of the power status, charge status, battery channel status and external battery mode. The displayed charge mode (red LED on - constant current charging, green LED on - pulsed voltage charging) gives a clear overview of how the charge mode is being used to charge your professional battery. With a bright and intense light, the reading function is activated in the dark.
Integrated locking bracket
The MEGABANK-4L is equipped with additional brackets to facilitate its use. The brackets provide additional stability when charging a single battery.
External battery mode
The MEGABANK-4L can easily become a very powerful external battery when used with a specially designed Hedbox high-flexibility professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-XLR 4-pin female to male (included in the box). The power output is DC14.5V/4.5A, 75W and the capacity depends on the batteries used. For this application, use the cable: RPC-DC4X4 / XLR 4-pin male to female.

With an XLR 4-pin female connector on the front panel, the MEGABANK-4L provides an additional DC output to continuously power external units such as professional camcorders, video monitors, LED lighting and other professional broadcast products. Connected with the specially designed Hedbox high-flexibility professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-XLR 4-pin female to male (included in the box), the charger can be used as an AC-DC adapter with DC 14.5V/4.5A, 75W output.
