QUAD BATTERY CHARGER AND UNINTERRUPTIBLE DC POWER SYSTEM - V-MOUNT
Hedbox GIGABANK is an intelligent digital quad battery charger system with four V-Mount (V-Lock) batteries offering simultaneous charging and uninterruptible power supply/power bank capabilities. LED status indicators provide clear, precise and accurate reports while built-in supports ensure stable operation when a single battery is mounted. The included female to male 4-pin XLR DC power cable (RPC-DC4X4) allows the GIGABANK to be used as a power bank, providing power to the DC output from either the AC input or installed V-Lok batteries. A DC output power of up to 14.5V 4.5A 75W is available. When operating in power bank mode, if the AC input fails, the DC power is automatically switched to an installed battery, then to the second battery once the first is depleted, then to the third battery once the second is depleted, and finally to the fourth battery once the third is depleted. This uninterruptible power supply and continuous power function provides valuable and constant DC power for audio, video and lighting equipment, independently of regular mains power.

The GIGABANK digital quad battery charger system conveniently charges four professional batteries simultaneously. Using the latest battery charging technologies, with zero-volt charge activation, it allows you to charge four batteries at the same time, saving you time and money.
Charging technology
Intelligent charging systems integrate control systems in the charger and electronics in the battery to allow precise control of the charging process. As a safety measure with high-capacity batteries, a pre-charge (slow charge) step is used. The constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charging mode is an efficient way to charge lithium batteries. It is used to charge the battery from 0% to 80% (RED light on). When the battery is charged to 80%, pulse voltage charging (GREEN light on) takes over until the battery reaches 100%. The charger's CPU automatically adjusts the charging current to be lower than the maximum charging current the battery can accept. When the battery is fully charged, this state is stopped.
LED display screen
The LED display provides a clear, precise and accurate indication of power status, charging status, battery channel status and power bank mode. The displayed charging mode (RED LED on - constant current charging, GREEN LED on - pulse voltage charging) gives a clear overview of how the charging mode is used to charge your professional battery. With a bright and intense light, the reading function is activated in the dark.
Integrated locking support
The GIGABANK is equipped with additional supports facilitating its use. The supports provide extra stability when charging a single battery.
Power bank mode
The GIGABANK can easily become a very powerful power bank when used with the specially designed Hedbox professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-4 pin XLR female to male (included in the box). The output power is DC14.5V/4.5A, 75W and the capacity depends on the batteries used. For this application, use the cable: RPC-DC4X4 / XLR 4 pin male to female.

With a 4-pin female XLR connector on the front panel, the GIGABANK provides an additional DC output to continuously power external units such as professional camcorders, video monitors, LED lights and other professional broadcast products. Connected with the specially designed Hedbox professional power cable RPC-DC4X4-4 pin XLR female to male (included in the box), the charger can be used as an AC-DC adapter with a DC output of 14.5V/4.5A, 75W.
