The new NERO series from Hedbox represents a high-performance and high-safety design. The new revolutionary cellular frame construction system provides additional safety and stability to the internal battery cells. Compared to all other battery brands, this new advanced system not only makes NERO batteries much safer for daily professional use, but also for transport. NERO L represents the large cinema V-lock battery in the NERO family range. Thanks to its additional DC D-Tap output, the NERO S can power all professional devices. An additional USB power output allows charging of mobile phones, tablets or other accessories using a single battery. The Hedbox NERO L professional battery pack provides up to 195Wh / 13.4Ah, allowing long operating times of over 5 hours on typical 30W ENG cameras, and about 1.5 hours for an ARRI Alexa. The built-in 5V 2.4A USB, D-Tap and DC 14.8V 7A output sockets provide external power for additional peripherals up to a maximum output of 100W/7A via D-Tap.

NERO uses a NEW revolutionary cellular frame construction system, which provides additional safety and stability to the internal battery cells. With this new advanced system, NERO is much safer for transport and daily operational use, compared to all other battery brands.
Data communication with the camcorder
Thanks to the built-in data communication chip, the battery synchronises with cameras to display the exact power percentage on the LCD screen.
High power capacity of 195Wh / 13.4Ah
The NERO L is composed of LG battery cells (2600mAh) 18650, and reaches a capacity of up to 195Wh / 13.4Ah. The battery can operate for approximately 5 hours for normal 30W ENG camcorders, and about 1.5 hours for ARRI Alexa camcorders.
Built-in 14.8V, 100W/7A DC D-tap output socket
A DC D-tap output socket (dust protection) is fitted on the side of the NERO L battery pack. With this external power installation, you can connect an on-camera LED light, video monitor, wireless transmitter or digital recorder, and obtain simultaneous power with the battery attached to the camera, or separately as an independent power station. The maximum power of both D-taps is 100W/7A.
Built-in 5V, 2.4A USB socket
For all your USB power needs, we have designed the 5V, 2.4A USB output. With this feature, you can use the NERO L as any power station to charge your mobile phone, tablet or any other electronic device that can be powered by a 5V USB power supply.
LED indicator
NERO L contains a built-in 4 LED power indicator that, at the push of a button, displays the remaining battery percentage at 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%.
High-quality Li-Ion cell
The latest lithium-ion battery cells from Samsung and LG are used in Hedbox battery packs. They have no memory effect, offer high efficiency and allow for a compact and lightweight battery.
No memory effect
Hedbox batteries offer the benefits of lithium-ion, which means they can be charged or discharged at any time without developing a memory effect. This means the battery never loses its ability to maintain a full charge.
Multiple protections
The battery pack circuit has multiple protections: abnormal current protection, voltage protection, short circuit protection and overheating protection. This allows the battery to have a longer operational life and safer use for professional purposes.
