The BLUESHAPE BV90 GRANITE 14.8V V-Mount Lithium-Ion Battery is a moderately compact battery for applications requiring lighter configurations. It benefits from BLUESHAPE's GRANITE series shock-resistant construction, which protects internal connections against impacts and shocks and provides protection against dust and water. The battery can discharge up to 7A continuously without overheating or loss of performance.


Two P-Tap power output ports are available on the sides for devices operating at a nominal voltage of 14.8V. They provide up to 5A of power and are electronically and independently protected against short circuits and overloads to avoid compromising the battery's main power supply. A 5-LED gauge on the side confirms remaining capacity by pressing the push button located next to it. Each LED represents 20% capacity and the rightmost LED begins to flash when capacity drops below 10%. There is no memory effect and the battery can be recharged at any time. You can use any BLUESHAPE charger designed for Li-Ion V-Mount batteries, such as the CVTR2 2-channel sequential portable charger. The battery incorporates safety, balancing and monitoring technology, and can provide digital communication with compatible cameras and other devices. This model has no IATA restrictions and can be carried in reasonable quantities as hand luggage, or as checked baggage if installed in your equipment.

GRANITE Series Features


GRANITE construction offers high resistance to impacts and shocks, ideal for demanding production environments.



Modular Design

The lithium-ion cells are secured inside the housing in a reinforced modular cage. All metallic interconnections and the BMS circuit board are integrated with the cells forming a single core. No wiring is used. The metal tabs between cells have been thickened using a lower resistance alloy for better welding strength and superior electrical conductivity. The P-Tap ports are deployed modularly on each side of the housing and externally protected by removable rubber caps.


Robust Construction

The external V-mount bracket is screwed to the internal core through the lower housing, using a metal reinforcement plate. The battery's external shells wrap around the internal core and secure it with eight perimeter screws. A coloured rubber gasket is sandwiched in the middle between the external shells to improve water resistance.


Resin Shells

The external shells are made from 4mm thick automotive-grade plastic resin, offering excellent robustness and impact resistance even at low temperatures.


IP54 Certification

The external housing and insulation are IP54 certified, guaranteeing protection and operational safety against dust and water.


Increased Longevity

The battery system as a whole benefits from the robustness of GRANITE construction through reduced risk of internal disconnection or malfunction caused by unforeseen impacts. GRANITE models have undergone intensive testing, including multiple drops from heights of up to 2 metres without sustaining critical internal and external damage that would render them unusable.
