The Static Wisk SW-141 anti-static cleaning brush has been specially designed to remove loose dust particles from the surface of CCD sensors in digital cameras.
The Static Wisk SW-141 anti-static cleaning brush has been specially designed to remove loose dust particles from the surface of CCD sensors in digital cameras.
It is naturally also suitable for removing dust from SLR mirrors, lenses, optical components and other sensitive surfaces. The combination of anti-static brush bristles with a conductive handle eliminates static electrical charges from surfaces to be cleaned. The brush bristles are mounted in a sliding sleeve. This allows the brush hardness to be regulated over the entire length of the bristles: softer when the bristles extend well out of the sleeve and harder when the bristles only protrude slightly. The Static Wisk SW-141 is supplied with a retention strap.
The Kinetronics Static Wisk cleaning brush is particularly suitable for cleaning sensitive surfaces while eliminating existing static charges. Smaller brushes are ideal for safely removing dust from films or lenses without damaging the coating. Larger brushes are used to remove dust and lint from larger surfaces, such as picture frame glass, scanner glass, screens, acrylic surfaces or plastic surfaces.
The brush is composed of a blend of very flexible natural fibres and conductive synthetic fibres, as well as a conductive plastic handle.
After being cleaned, the treated surfaces are electrically neutral and therefore do not attract dust particles. For extremely difficult cases, there is also a brush with a grounding cable, which is particularly effective at eliminating electrical charges.
Dirty brushes can be washed without affecting their anti-static effect. The brushes can be used at temperatures up to 65°.
The brushes are available in sizes 10, 20, 30, 60, 100, 140 and 280 mm, and widths from 100 mm are also available with grounding cables.
