The ARRI Touchdown TBP-1 base plate is specifically designed to mount the ALEXA 35 in live multi-camera environments. As part of the ALEXA 35 Live ecosystem and Multicam Support Kit, this base plate is directly compatible with ARRI studio bridge plates and the separately available Touchdown TRP-1 receiver plate.
Combined with the TRP-1, the base plate allows quick and easy mounting and dismounting of the camera on a tripod, and its self-aligning design improves mounting speed compared to traditional VCT plates. The rosettes on the right and left sides of the base plate provide mounting points for handles, and the front rod ports allow the installation of optional rod systems.
