Comfortable ALEXA 35 shoulder kit
Ideal for sports and live entertainment applications, the ARRI operator kit for ALEXA 35 allows for quick transitions between tripod use and comfortable shoulder-mounted shooting. This lightweight kit creates an ergonomic shoulder-mounted support that will feel familiar to AMIRA users. The operator kit includes the operator top plate, operator top handle, and the Touchdown baseplate with its receiver plate.
TOP-1 Operator Top Plate
The dedicated and lightweight TOP-1 top plate features an optically centred 15mm LWS rod support for supporting matte boxes and lens motors. It incorporates multiple 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, and M4 anti-rotation threads for mounting an articulating plate, rod supports and other accessories.
TOG-1 Operator Top Handle
Equipped with a substantial walnut handle, the TOG-1 top handle offers a comfortable grip for your ALEXA 35, even in cold weather, unlike metal handles. The 19mm cross bar EVF mount at the front allows for lateral and front-to-back adjustment to position your viewfinder optimally. Like its AMIRA counterpart, this handle slides into the top plate, offering multiple 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, and M4 threads, and can be used with handle extensions.
TBP-1 Touchdown Baseplate
ARRI's TBP-1 Touchdown baseplate is specially designed for mounting the ALEXA 35 in live multi-camera environments. Combined with the TRP-1, the baseplate allows for quick and secure mounting and detaching of the camera from a tripod, and its robust, self-aligning design improves mounting speed compared to traditional VCT plates. The Touchdown plate locks in place with a side lever, and its tension is adjustable with a simple turn of a screw. Rosettes allow for attaching right and left handles, and a 15mm LWS rod support at the front provides space for optional rod systems. Rubber pads on the front and rear points provide a stable base for setting your camera on a flat surface when not using the receiver plate.
TRP-1 Touchdown Receiver Plate
Combined with the TBP-1, the TRP-1 Touchdown receiver plate provides the foundation for easy transition between tripod and shoulder shooting. It features multiple stainless steel tripod threads on the bottom for wide compatibility with different quick release plates and rubber pads on the front and rear points to provide a stable base.
