The Tascam 202MKVII is a rack-mountable dual cassette deck with USB designed to offer flexible cassette recording and transfer functions for musicians, vocalists, and archivists in personal, project, and commercial studios. It features two dual-head cassette decks, a wireless remote control with AAA batteries, and supports multiple tape types. A USB 2.0 Type-B output is provided for easy A/D conversion and digital audio transfers to a computer.
Use one-touch copying for simple cassette duplication, or initiate parallel recording to simultaneously record the same source onto both tapes. Desirable features include pitch control for deck 1, selectable noise reduction, and loop playback. In addition to standard stereo RCA input and output, the 202MKVII features a 6.35 mm mic input and a 6.35 mm stereo headphone output. Level controls are present for mic input, headphone output, and recording gain.
Features
- Dual cassette deck for playback, copying, or recording one or two cassettes

- RTZ (Return to Zero) function returns the tape to the zero counter point
- Loop playback function

- 3U rack-mountable chassis
- Includes wireless remote control and two AAA batteries
