Separate Chromatte curtain 4m x 3m (12ft x 10ft)

Chromatte is a fabric specifically designed for use

as a backdrop for chroma key production.

Unlike conventional chroma key fabrics which are typically

blue or green in colour, under ambient light, Chromatte appears grey to the naked eye.





The fabric contains millions of tiny glass beads that act as reflectors:


when a light - such as the directional light from the

lens-mounted Reflecmedia LiteRing - strikes the fabric, it is reflected back along the same

path to the camera lens. This retro-reflective process means

that the camera "sees" the seemingly grey fabric as a

perfectly uniform blue or green backdrop.



Chromatte Curtains:


Chromatte is available in a range of standard sizes or custom-made

for studio curtains, where the fabric is lined with an

opaque black curtain and hemmed with eyelets on the

top for easy hanging on studio rails or rods.
