The LiteRing is a circular arrangement of bright green light-emitting diodes

(LEDs) mounted around the camera lens. The LiteRing provides

all the source light necessary to illuminate the Chromatte fabric for keying.

Manufactured in two sizes, it is compatible with most

digital and professional video camera lenses. The AC-powered

LiteRing Controller (LRC) allows adjustment of the light intensity required for

optimal keying results. Ideal shooting distances depend on several variables

such as ambient light level, choice of keying applications, camera

quality and shooting formats. As a general rule, the subject should be more than

2.4 m from the camera to avoid a green cast. The maximum

distance is approximately 18 m.
