Some of our projects

Multicam & Unilumin / Novastar

The MEDIA ONE project consisted of designing the layout of a brand new filming studio for the CARAC television group. Designed to be modern, modular and immersive, it is based on the latest audiovisual technologies. In the background, a nearly 10-metre L-shaped Unilumin LED screen offers spectacular staging, controlled by a Backdrop Multicam System 2D server and Novastar MX-40 controllers.

The studio is equipped with four PTZ cameras, one of which is mounted on a Dolly Spirit Multicam System motorised track, enabling dynamic and creative movements. Production can be ensured either in automatic mode, via a Radio Multicam System server, or in manual mode with a powerful Blackmagic Design ATEM Constellation 4K 2 M/E switcher. For system control, an innovative Adder CCS-PRO solution centralises all the machines, allowing switching from one server to another with a simple mouse movement.

This configuration ensures total production flexibility, capable of adapting to different programme formats and connected to the group's various radio studios. The chosen technologies are recognised for their reliability, scalability and high-end visual rendering. MEDIA ONE thus provides the CARAC group with a cutting-edge production tool. A project that perfectly illustrates the alliance between technological innovation and television creativity.

Multicam & Unilumin/Novastar

For the relocation of its studio from the Upper Valais to new premises in Viège, Canal 9 wanted to create a unique space. The tone was set: a large LED screen 18m long and 3m high and the desire for XR production.

The next step was to design and build the self-supporting metal structure on which all the modules housing the LED panels would be fixed.

Thanks to the multiCAM solution, we were able to offer an XR solution, with 3 cameras mounted on PTZ heads, a dolly on 4.8m rails and robotic totems.

NDI & 4K

The objective of this project was to move the existing studio, built by Visuals a few years earlier, and reinstall it in a new space, whilst adding new tools, allowing the creation of an even more efficient venue. The Newtek Tricaster TC2 Elite control room based on NDI technology was retained. In addition, 12G-SDI connectivity was added for distribution within the studio.

A very large Samsung screen serves as a backdrop for a large-scale display, complemented by four custom-built totems equipped with Unilumin LED panels with a 1.58 pitch. The display is managed by an Analogway Aquilon C, ensuring performance, reliability and flexibility.

The cameras have evolved from Panasonic AW-UE150 PTZ cameras to a Canon C500MKII solution, equipped with Canon CN10x25 & CN7X17 cinema lenses, mounted on ROSSVIDEO Cambot robotic pedestals. Very robust, they are also capable of supporting the Autoscript prompter system with Talent Monitor. Zero Density adds an AR layer for a dynamic studio, designed to be contemporary and "future-proof". Live transmissions can be ensured thanks to the use of the LIVE U solution.

Studio Modular Flyaway Units

The UPU project focused on developing Flyaway cases adapted to different uses. Mobile units are versatile and portable solutions designed to house and transport a variety of equipment safely.

These cases are designed to ensure that the equipment they contain can be installed efficiently and safely, wherever it is needed. For the UPU project, four distinct modular fly cases were built: audio, video, multimedia and for conferences with integrated voting system. One of the most remarkable features of these fly cases is the ability to control up to 14 cameras.

Furthermore, in line with the UPU's efficiency objective, these modular cases were designed for rapid deployment. They can be installed in just one hour, which minimises downtime and ensures that events and projects can proceed with minimal disruption.
