Following the retro lighting series, the picklePATT is the cute and compact new addition to our family of tungsten classics.
It is the second fixture, created in collaboration with lighting designer Tim Routledge, that combines traditional aesthetics with modern manufacturing quality. The picklePATT is specifically designed to follow the current trend of tungsten effects on stage and on set - for bands, television, film and decorative lighting in general, while maintaining its vintage look and using the modern and readily available 575W HPL lamp. This soft 575W tungsten light source is built around an elegant 392 mm aluminum parabolic body that maximizes its curves to be as beautiful on stage as the artists it illuminates. The picklePATT proves that lighting fixtures can be more than just a practical necessity – the luminaires themselves can be a work of art and create ambiance. The well-known member of Robe's classic tungsten range - the PATT 2013 - has already been used in television shows and concerts worldwide, including Jeff Lynne's ELO, Gary Barlow, The Prodigy, Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney, X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, The Graham Norton Show and many other talk show sets.
