Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F
Designed for landscape, nature and astrophotography, the Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 lens with Nikon F mount is a bright ultra wide-angle lens characterised by its autofocus design and immense field of view. The optical design incorporates one ultra-low dispersion element, two aspherical elements and four high-refractive-index elements, which help to reduce various aberrations and distortions to improve sharpness, clarity and colour rendering. An Ultra Multi-Coating treatment has also been applied to the individual elements to suppress reflections and ghosting, thus improving contrast when shooting in bright lighting conditions. Complementing the optical design, the autofocus system uses a lightweight focusing group for fast and quiet performance suited to both photo and video applications. In addition, the lens features a fully metal body and is weather-sealed for use in challenging weather conditions.
- The ultra wide-angle lens is designed for Nikon F-mount FX-format digital SLRs, but can also be used with DX models where it offers an equivalent focal length of 21mm.
