The Samyang 20mm F1.8 ED AS UMC is a manual focus wide-angle lens for full-frame sensor digital SLR cameras.
The bright F1.8 aperture ensures fast shutter speeds, even in low-light conditions, to deliver the best quality images. It can brighten your everyday photos, but it also creates a remarkable background blur by effectively highlighting the main subject.
Positioned between the ultra-wide 16mm and the standard wide-angle 24mm, the 20mm focal length is perfect for exploring wide angles, not only for shooting indoor images such as concerts and interior photos, but also for street scenes.
The minimum focusing distance of 20cm adds versatility to the lens. Based on Samyang Optics' exceptional optical technology, the Ultra multi-coating, two aspherical lenses and three extra-low dispersion lenses have been included among 13 elements in 12 groups, to minimize aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, offering high resolution from the centre to the edges of the image.
