A truly fast prime lens for mirrorless cameras, the black Rokinon 35mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS lens is designed for Canon M cameras in APS-C format, offering an equivalent focal length of 52.5mm. This lens is characterised by its large maximum aperture of f/1.2, which allows extensive depth-of-field control and selective focus, and is also beneficial for shooting in challenging lighting conditions. The optical design incorporates one extra-low dispersion element and two aspherical elements to minimise chromatic and spherical aberrations in order to increase clarity and sharpness, and the individual elements also benefit from an Ultra Multi-Coating treatment to reduce reflections and ghosting. The manual focus design offers precise focus control down to 38cm and a nine-blade rounded aperture also contributes to a pleasing bokeh effect. 
This 35mm f/1.2 prime lens is designed for Canon M mirrorless cameras in APS-C format and offers an equivalent focal length of 52.5mm, slightly longer than normal.
The exceptionally fast maximum aperture of f/1.2 offers a high degree of depth-of-field control, suited to selective focus photography, and is also beneficial for working in low-light conditions.
Two aspherical elements are present in the optical design to minimise spherical aberrations, increase sharpness and provide uniform illumination from edge to edge.
An extra-low dispersion element is used to reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing in order to improve clarity and colour accuracy.
An Ultra Multi-Coating treatment has been applied to the individual elements to reduce reflections and ghosting in order to increase contrast and neutral colour balance.
Manual focus offers precise control with a minimum focus distance of 38cm.
The nine-blade rounded aperture contributes to a smooth and pleasing bokeh effect.
