16mm T2.6 Lens (Micro 4/3)
The Xeen 16mm T2.6 lens with Micro 4/3 mount is specifically designed for cinematographic use. It features internal focusing, meaning the lens does not change size during focusing, thus minimising breathing effects when changing focus. Each lens in the range is multi-coated for good contrast, flare prevention and colour matching to a factory standard, allowing you to build a set over time with minimal colour variation. This 16mm lens offers what is considered a very wide angle of field on full-frame cameras, and a proportionally narrower angle of field on smaller format cameras.
The lens features dual-sided focus scales graduated in feet, with aperture scales on both sides. The 11-blade iris provides a rounded aperture for a natural-looking flare and bokeh. The lens features manual focus and aperture only, with no autofocus or automatic aperture capability. It incorporates cinema-style focus and aperture rings that share the same position across all lenses in the Xeen range. The common 114mm front diameter allows for quick lens changes when using a matte box and focus accessories. The focus ring rotates 200° from close focus to infinity, giving you a high degree of precision when adjusting focus. The lens mount can be shimmed, and additional mounts (sold separately) can be used with the lens.

This is a 16mm lens with an image circle covering a full-frame sensor. Mounted on a camera with a full-frame sensor, it offers a very wide angle of field.
The lens is constructed from metal to withstand the rigours of daily production and comes with a support foot that can help reduce strain on your camera mount.
Focus and aperture scales on both sides allow your focus puller to work from either side of the lens, without having to rotate the lens in the mount or deal with upside-down numbers.
All lenses in the XEEN range share the same focus and aperture ring positions, which speeds up lens changes as accessories such as follow focus or aperture motors do not need to be repositioned.
The common 114mm front diameter allows for quick lens changes as you do not need to change rings or adapters to use the same matte box.
The non-rotating front element allows the use of optional clip-on matte boxes.
De-clicked aperture ring for smooth aperture adjustments.
A minimum focus distance of 30 cm allows you to get close to your subject.
