16mm T2.6 Lens (PL)
The Xeen 16mm T2.6 lens with PL mount is specifically designed for cinematographic use. It features an internal focus design that prevents the lens from changing size during focusing, thus minimising breathing effects during focus pulls. Every lens in the range is multi-coated for good contrast, flare prevention and colour matching to a factory standard, allowing you to build a set over time with minimal colour shift. This 16mm lens offers what is considered a very wide angle of view on full-frame cameras, and a proportionally tighter angle of view on smaller format cameras.
The lens features double-sided focus scales graduated in feet, with aperture scales on both sides. The 11-blade aperture delivers a rounded opening for natural flare effects and bokeh. The lens has manual focus and aperture, and has no autofocus or automatic aperture capabilities. It incorporates cinema-style focus and aperture gears that share the same position across all lenses in the Xeen range. The common 114mm front diameter allows for quick lens changes when using a matte box and follow focus accessories. The focus ring rotates 200° from minimum focus to infinity, giving you a high degree of precision during adjustments. The lens mount can be shimmed, and additional mounts (sold separately) can be used with the lens.

This is a 16mm lens with an image circle covering a full-frame sensor. Mounted on a camera equipped with a full-frame sensor, it offers you a very wide angle of view.
The lens features a metal construction to withstand the rigours of daily production and comes with a support foot that can help reduce strain on your camera's lens mount.
Double-sided focus and aperture scales allow your assistant to work from either side of the lens, without having to flip it in the mount or deal with upside-down numbers.
Every lens in the XEEN series shares the same focus ring and aperture ring positions, speeding up lens changes as accessories such as follow focus units or aperture motors do not need to be repositioned.
The common 114mm front diameter allows for quick lens changes as you don't need to swap adapter rings to use the same matte box.
The non-rotating front element allows optional clip-on matte boxes to be used.
De-clicked aperture ring for smooth aperture adjustments.
A minimum focus distance of 30 cm allows you to get close to your subject.
