The Panasonic Lumix S PRO 24-70mm f/2.8 lens is a wide-angle to short telephoto lens for full-frame mirrorless digital camera systems with Leica L-mount, such as the Lumix S1, S1R, and S1H. It features a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a sophisticated optical design. Aspherical, UHR, and ED elements are used to produce well-corrected images with excellent sharpness, accurate colour rendition, and remarkable clarity across the entire zoom and focus range. Complementing the optics, a dual focus system, which uses both a linear motor and a stepping motor, delivers particularly fast and precise autofocus performance. An advanced optical image stabiliser reduces the effects of camera shake for sharper handheld shots, and the lens features a weather-sealed design for use in demanding conditions. Furthermore, an 11-blade rounded aperture contributes to pleasing bokeh quality with smooth transitions between the sharp and out-of-focus areas of the image.
Optimised for professional use, the Panasonic Pro 24-70mm lens features a splash-proof, dust-proof, and freeze-proof design, which is highly advantageous for working in challenging weather conditions, down to -10°C.
