Upgrade your cine lens kit with this 50mm T1.5 MK2 from Samyang available in Canon EF mount. The MK2 continues the lineage with the same multi-coating process, industry-standard geared focus and iris rings, and a fast T1.5 aperture, and it adds a 9-blade iris for beautiful soft bokeh, weather sealing to prevent moisture ingress, and focal lengths on both sides for greater versatility for camera assistants.
This 50mm lens produces 46.2° coverage when used with full-frame cameras. Hybrid aspherical lenses produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 1.5' from the lens. The 9-blade iris also allows you to create up to a stunning 18-point starburst effect when the iris is fully closed.
A removable petal-shaped lens hood provides protection against flare when shooting without a matte box, and the lens's threaded front accepts a 77mm filter.

- Each lens in the Samyang MK2 cine series shares common positions for the focus and iris rings, which speeds up lens changes as accessories such as follow focus units or iris motors do not need to be repositioned.
