The MK2 continues the lineage with the same multi-coating process, industry-standard geared focus and iris rings, and fast T1.5 aperture, whilst adding a 9-blade diaphragm for beautiful soft bokeh, weather sealing for moisture protection, and focal lengths on both sides for increased versatility for camera assistants.
This 50mm lens offers 46.2° coverage when used with full-frame cameras. Hybrid aspherical lenses produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of approximately 45 cm from the lens. The 9-blade diaphragm also allows you to create up to an impressive 18-point star effect when fully stopped down.
A removable petal-shaped lens hood provides protection against flare when shooting without a matte box, and the threaded front of the lens accepts a 77mm filter.
