Upgrade your cinema lens kit with this 85mm T1.5 MK2 from Samyang which comes with a Canon EF mount. The MK2 continues the legacy with the same multi-layer coating process, industry-standard geared focus and aperture rings, and the fast T1.5 aperture, and it adds a 9-blade aperture for beautiful soft bokeh, weather sealing to prevent moisture, and focal distances on both sides for increased versatility for focus pullers.
This 85mm lens produces 28.4° coverage when used with full-frame cameras. Aspherical lenses produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of 3.6' from the lens. The 9-blade aperture also allows you to create up to a superb 18-pointed star effect by stopping down the aperture completely.
A removable petal-shaped lens hood protects against flare when shooting without a matte box, and the threaded front of the lens accepts a 72mm filter.
