The MK2 continues the range with the same multi-coating process, industry-standard geared focus and iris rings, and a fast T1.5 aperture, and it adds a 9-blade iris for beautiful soft bokeh, weather sealing to protect against moisture, and focal lengths marked on both sides for added versatility for focus pullers.
This 85mm lens produces a coverage of 28.4° when used with full-frame cameras. Aspherical lenses produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of 3.6' from the lens. The 9-blade iris also allows you to create an impressive starburst effect of up to 18 rays when fully stopped down.
A removable petal lens hood offers protection against flare when shooting without a matte box, and the lens's threaded front accepts a 72mm filter.
