Upgrade your cinema lens kit with this 85mm T1.5 MK2 cine lens from Samyang, available in MFT mount. The MK2 perpetuates the legacy with the same multi-layer coating process, industry-standard focus and aperture rings, and a fast T1.5 aperture, and it adds a 9-blade aperture for beautiful soft bokeh, weather protection and focal distances on both sides for increased versatility for camera assistants.
This 85mm lens produces 14.4° coverage when used with Micro Four Thirds cameras. Aspherical lenses produce sharply defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of 3.6' from the lens. The 9-blade aperture also allows you to create up to 18 impressive star rays when stopping down the aperture completely.
A removable petal-shaped lens hood protects against reflections when shooting without a matte box, and the threaded front of the lens accepts a 72mm filter.
