Featuring a pair of low dispersion elements, colour fringing and chromatic aberrations have been virtually eliminated throughout the focusing range for enhanced clarity and colour accuracy. The lens's manual focus design is also well-suited to its macro capabilities, which allow working with subjects at up to 2:1 magnification with a 9.7" minimum focusing distance. Additionally, a 13-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
