Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL (Black)
The Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL - Leica M (Black) is a super compact and lightweight rectilinear (RL) ultra wide-angle lens for full-frame (FF) mirrorless cameras. The remarkable 126° angle of view with a minimum focusing distance of 19 cm can be found in the 6.3 cm (2.5 inch) long, 254 g (8.9 oz) lens. It allows you to capture superb landscapes, precious travel moments and beautiful interior designs without any constraints. The lens also includes 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements to ensure sharpness, suppress chromatic aberrations and minimise distortion. Conveniently, the 62 mm filter can be screwed directly onto the lens, or additional filters are available with a 100 mm square filter frame. The 5-blade aperture creates stunning 10-pointed sunstars. For Leica M mount photographers, rangefinder coupling is available for the lens to provide more precise and easier focusing.
Features
Remarkable 126° angle of view for full-frame mirrorless cameras
With a remarkable 126° angle of view, the new Laowa 11mm offers an exaggerated perspective without a fisheye effect. It would be a perfect tool for landscape, travel and interior photographers.
High quality image with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations
The 11mm F4.5 FF RL is constructed of 14 elements in 10 groups that deliver remarkable image sharpness. Although it is not a Zero-D lens, the 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements suppress chromatic aberrations and distortion to a minimum.
Super compact and lightweight
The lens is designed to achieve great mobility, compactness and lightness to give photographers more flexibility when travelling. The small lens is only 6.3 cm (2.5 inches) tall and weighs 254 g (8.9 oz).
Minimum focusing distance of 19 cm
The lens offers an extremely close focusing distance of 7.4'' / 19 cm (from subject to sensor), allowing photographers to create macro-style shots with an ultra wide-angle perspective.
Built-in 62 mm filter thread
It is equipped with a 62 mm filter thread for the use of screw-in filters. It is very convenient to attach the filter directly to the lens. Or, if necessary, photographers can use the 100 mm square filter frame.
