Combining an ultra-compact form factor with an ultra-wide field of view, the Venus Optics Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL for Nikon Z mount is an elegant prime lens with particularly low distortion and rectilinear rendering, suitable for interior, architectural, astrophotography, nature, and landscape applications. The wide 114° angle of view is supported by an advanced optical design, which includes aspherical, high refractive index, and low dispersion elements, to achieve well-corrected, sharp, and color-accurate images. The lens features manual focus and allows working with subjects as close as 10.6" away, and its built-in petal-shaped lens hood helps block stray light that can cause unwanted flare.

- The ultra-wide-angle lens is designed for Nikon Z FX-format mirrorless cameras but can also be used with DX models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 21mm.
- Two aspherical elements and one ultra-high refractive index glass element help control distortion and spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and accurate rendering.
