Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift
Combining an exceptionally wide field of view with the ability to correct perspective distortion, the Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift for Sony E mount is an ideal lens for architectural and interior applications. The 110° angle of view is complemented by an impressive shift range of +/- 11mm to compensate for unwanted converging lines and keystone distortion. This shift control is further enhanced by a 360° rotation mechanism allowing movements to be applied in different directions to suit both horizontal and vertical shooting orientations. Furthermore, as a member of the Zero-D lens series, this 15mm f/4.5 also renders scenes with a high degree of accuracy and very low distortion. In terms of optics, two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are present, reducing spherical and chromatic aberrations for great sharpness and clarity. An anti-reflection coating also helps to control flare and ghosting for increased contrast and colour rendition. The lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects as close as 20cm and features a five-blade aperture diaphragm to produce distinctive 10-point star effects.
