Laowa 7.5mm T2.1 MFT Cine
This Laowa 7.5mm T2.1 cine lens from Venus Optics in MFT mount is calibrated in feet and offers a wide angle of view of 110° perfectly suited to outdoor shoots, landscapes and confined interior spaces, and is optimised for digital cinematography. It is so light and compact that it can be used not only for handheld shooting, but is also light enough to be used on stabilisers. The lens produces an image circle that covers MFT format sensors.
The 7.5mm cine lens has a maximum aperture of T2.1 with 13 elements in 9 groups. Its 5-blade iris delivers soft and pleasing bokeh, shallow depth of field with little or no distortion, and a minimum focusing distance of 4.7". The focus and iris rings are equipped with a standard MOD 0.8 gear that is compatible with standard cinema focus motors. The 52 mm front diameter has a 49 mm filter thread. Focus and iris markings are on the side of the lens for easy focus puller operation. Front and rear caps and a Pelican hard case with custom foam are included to protect and transport the lens.
